In what looks like a bid for Saints fans’ patronage, Cove Oyster Bar & Grille opened this fall, stressing football and New Orleans-influenced dishes.
Regular menu items at Cove include Cajun catfish, alligator tail and beignets, as well as baked oysters and steaks. On Monday night, in celebration of Monday Night Football, Cove is offering all-you-can-eat crab legs. The North Charleston restaurant features six large-screen TVs.
Keith Haynes is in charge of the kitchen at Cove, the latest venture from the restaurant group responsible for Toast and Eli’s Table, among other venues. Haynes previously ran a pair of G&H Hospitality restaurants in Memphis.
Located at 7690 Northwoods Blvd., Cove Oyster Bar & Grille is open 4-10 p.m. weekdays; 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturdays; and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sundays. For more information, call (843) 580-4040 or visit eatatcove.com.
