MOSAIC Café on Monday is closing its Mt. Pleasant location and moving its catering operations to the Upper Neck area.

A restaurant called Fill is slated to take over the Hungry Neck Boulevard venue in early 2016.

In a letter to patrons and vendors, owner Steven Niketas expressed thanks “for all the years of support.” MOSAIC opened its Mt. Pleasant location in 2004; the restaurant was spun off from MOSAIC in Richmond, Va., which dates back to 1997. There’s also a MOSAIC in Suffolk, Va.
