It's not too soon to be thinking about spring, fresh vegetables and fruits.

Sign-ups are under way for Community Supported Agriculture shares at Rosebank Farms on Johns Island and Ambrose Family Farm on Wadmalaw Island.

Now entering its fourth year, the Rosebank CSA is offered in spring, summer and fall. Seasons are 12 weeks long; prices vary by share size.

Pick-up points include downtown Charleston, West Ashley, James Island, Mount Pleasant, Sullivan's Island, North Charleston and Johns Island. The farm also offers a box delivery program to downtown.

April 18 will kick-off the first delivery of spring produce for the spring CSA season.

Ambrose Family Farm also is signing up for its spring CSA. An early sign-up rate will be in effect until March 1. The farm also offers winter and fall CSAs. Each season runs from 11 to 13 weeks. Shares are in four sizes, small to extra-large. Premium and wine shares also may be purchased.
