Meaghan Dorman, who this month was credited by The New York Times with creating “arguably the city’s most romantic bars,” is one of three women scheduled to mix drinks at a Proof takeover next Friday.

Dorman will be joined by William Grant and Sons brand ambassador Charlotte Voisey and Carolina Smith-Adams of Voodoo in creating Ladies Night 2.0, scheduled in conjunction with the Charleston Wine + Food festival. “The ladies have decided on a super un-Proof like theme of Tiki drinks,” owner Craig Nelson reports.

The Bennett is the newest addition to Dorman’s collection of Manhattan bars. She also owns Dear Irving and two locations of The Raines Law Room.

Ladies 2.0 runs from 7 p.m.-12 midnight on Mar. 4. Nelson describes the admission situation as “open to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis.” For more information, visit facebook.com/proofcharleston.
