Where to find the best food in town? Charleston's own Holly Herrick reveals her Top 10 Must-Do's for both cities in her newly published "Food Lovers' Guide to Charleston & Savannah."
Herrick draws on more than a decade of experience as a restaurant critic and food writer, and as a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, to "reluctantly" offer those Top 10 lists.
But the book's 247 pages also are brimming with her nuggets of wisdom about favorite places to eat and drink, shop for food and find other culinary trea-sures.
The book includes recipes from top local chefs and is a resource for food events and cooking classes, too.
