What: The Glass Onion will offer up a four-course New Year's Eve Tasting Dinner featuring tastes of Italy with a Southern flair, such as South Carolina Clams au Gratin, Manchester Farms Quail with Benton "Prosciutto" and a Florida Orange Trifle. There also will be an optional wine pairing from the restaurant's "green" wine list. The owners encourage reserving spots early.

Chili, cornbread cook-off

What: Chili and cornbread tasting will be followed by the official judging. Admission includes one raffle ticket and tastings of chili and cornbread from competitors. Proceeds will benefit Jaycee Camp Hope, a residential summer camp for kids and adults with mental disabilities.
