Yesterday I had a protein bar for breakfast. If I can say the brand, it was a chocolate mint CLIF Bar, along with orange juice.
For lunch, I had a Shakeology drink. You go on a website and they have various drinks for various needs. I’m prepping right now for my next race, so I had the chocolate mint. That’s a meal replacement.
Dinner was string beans with eight ounces of grilled chicken and baked sweet potato waffle wedges. They are the best, and can be found in the frozen food section of your grocery store. I also had a small piece of sweet potato pie. The green beans, I’m from the country, so I just put them in a pot with water and added black pepper to it. That’s the regimen I’m trying to maintain right now for my upcoming race.
This year, I’ve done nine races so far. I have three more races, and then we’ll see what 2018 brings.
