This is part of the Post and Courier's Daily Digest series in which one of our food reporters asks a local to describe their day of eating in detail.

I got married on Saturday, so it was kind of a different day for eating.
We didn’t have any breakfast. I did have some coffee, though. For lunch, we ordered subs from Publix. I had a turkey and cheese sub. For dinner, we had fried chicken, mac-and-cheese, shrimp-and-grits and barbecue.
And for drinks, I had a lot of Champagne throughout the day and then I had a vodka soda. Our wedding was at Creek Club At I’on in Mount Pleasant. It was a great day.
