Actually, I’ve been trying to lose weight, but yesterday I did have a little small bowl of Raisin Bran. I work late so it was about 11 a.m.
So I did errands and things throughout the day, and then I went to the Tatttooed Moose on Morrison at around 4:30. It was already into their happy hour prices from 4 to 7. I’m a regular in there because the food is always perfectly fantastic, and so I saw there was a gyro, and I thought, “That’s a new addition.”
The server said it had been the menu the last three or four weeks: They make their own gyro meat and instead of the tzatziki sauce, it was like ... it was similar to that and they said it was yogurt-based, but it had an orange color to it and a little bit of a spice kick. It was just fantastic.
About 10:30, I went to Mellow Mushroom in Avondale and I had a pepperoni calzone. And those were my three things for the day. I spend a lot of money enjoying local Charleston food.
