Daily digest What one local ate over the course of a day


Tricia Andrews is the adviser to the Fort Dorchester High School Beta Club, which is planning a major barbecue festival this fall to benefit Camp Happy Days.

Yesterday for breakfast we had sausage, egg and cheese on a roll. We have that a lot. I buy the Johnsonville all-natural sausage. And it’s got to be an over-medium egg and white American cheese.

For lunch, we had Chick-fil-A. I have a 5-year-old son and a 2-year-old son, so we all had chicken sandwiches and fruit. They had milk; I had tea. We had some grapes in the afternoon as a snack.

We had a pizza for dinner. It sounds like I’m the unhealthiest eater, but yeah; it was a takeout meatball pizza, and a Greek salad. Then for dessert we had Friendly’s chocolate ice cream with freshly sliced strawberries. That was it.
