Combined, the Charleston Southern men’s and women’s basketball teams are enjoying one the best basketball seasons in school history. Both teams hope to add emphasis on a rare showcase Saturday at the Buc Dome.

The Buccaneers play host to Wofford in a BracketBusters game. Game time is 7 p.m. Charleston Southern with a 73-58 home victory over Gardner-Webb on Tuesday night improved to 16-10 overall and 10-6 in Big South Conference play.

“We clearly are not satisfied,” head coach Barclay Radebaugh said.

Wofford (17-11) is in third place in the Southern Conference South Division and already has swept both the College of Charleston and The Citadel.

It’s the first 10-win season in league play for CSU since the 1994-95 season and the Bucs have clinched a first-round bye in the Big South Tournament.

Head coach Julie Goodenough’s women’s team plays host to Big South Conference foe High Point in a special “Pink Zone” game. The Bucs are 14-10 overall and 7-6 in Big South play despite two straight losses. CSU already has defeated Clemson and the College of Charleston this season.
