A man was stabbed in the leg Thursday night after an attacker accused him of having an affair with his wife, according to the North Charleston Police Department.
Officers responded to the incident at a home at 3435 Apache St. near Ashley Phosphate Road about 9:30 p.m.
Spencer Pryor, a spokesman for the department, said the suspect drove up in a black Chrysler 300 and got out.
"The suspect ... accused the victim of having an affair with the suspect's wife," Pryor said in a statement.
The two started fighting on the ground when one got stabbed several times in the leg.
The knife-wielding man left in the car. He was described as Hispanic, between 20 and 30 years old, and about 160 pounds.
The police said he goes by the name "Reese."
