Arnold Schwarzenegger has been banged around and bloodied while filming a contemporary Western movie in Albuquerque, N.M.
The New York Post reported that the former California governor posted on Twitter that he got a little banged up on the set Thursday of "The Last Stand," in which he portrays a small-town sheriff who takes on a drug kingpin.
A photo shows what appears to be a bloody cut running down from the middle of Schwarzenegger's forehead.
Schwarzenegger did not provide details of what happened.
Actor Mirren to co-host Peace Prize concert
Organizers say British actress Helen Mirren will co-host this year's Nobel Peace Prize concert, featuring performances by Benin's Angelique Kidjo and other world artists.
The Dec. 11 concert is held a day after the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, which this year honors President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and women's right activist Leymah Gbowee, both of Liberia, and democracy activist Tawakkul Karman of Yemen.
The lineup of artists includes Ahmed Fathi of Yemen and Liberian-born singer Miatta Fahnbulleh, as well as David Gray, Jill Scott, country duo Sugarland and the World Youth Choir.
Stevie B in Mass. court over child support
The singer Stevie B has appeared in a Springfield, Mass., courtroom for a hearing on what the state said is more than $400,000 in unpaid child support.
The dispute remains unresolved, and the judge asked him to come back Feb. 23.
The singer, best known for the 1990 hit "Because I Love You (The Postman Song)," was arrested Sept. 30 after performing at the MassMutual Center in Springfield. His full name is Steven Bernard Hill.
Pointer sister accused of drug possession
Los Angeles County authorities say singer Bonnie Pointer, 61, has been arrested for investigation of possessing rock cocaine.
Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said she was arrested Friday in South Los Angeles after the car she was riding in was pulled over for a mechanical malfunction. Deputies said she was released after posting $10,000 bail.
