NBC will air a birthday special for White the day before, and also has picked up a "Candid Camera"-like prank show featuring senior citizens called "Betty White's Off Their Rockers."
Drew Barrymore engaged to consultant
Drew Barrymore is engaged to art consultant Will Kopelman.
Barrymore's publicist confirmed the engagement Friday. The couple were reportedly engaged over the holidays in Sun Valley, Idaho.
Barrymore, 36, was briefly married to Jeremy Thomas in 1994 and to comedian Tom Green in 2001.
Griffin O'Neal arrested on suspicion of battery
Griffin O'Neal, the son of actor Ryan O'Neal, was arrested at his suburban San Diego home on New Year's Eve on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery, U-T San Diego reported Thursday. He is being held at San Diego Central Jail on $10,000 bail.
A sheriff's department spokeswoman told the newspaper that a family member called 911 to report a disturbance because of someone drinking too much at the home. The spokeswoman said deputies determined through witnesses that O'Neal, 47, was being aggressive toward his wife.
O'Neal is to be sentenced next week in a separate case in which he drove under the influence of drugs in August, causing a head-on collision that injured another motorist.
Loretta Lynn postpones 2 shows to let knee heal
Country legend Loretta Lynn has rescheduled her first two shows of the year to give her knee more time to heal.
Lynn, 76, underwent total knee replacement surgery in the fall and suffered from pneumonia.
Lynn was scheduled to perform in Ashland, Ky., and Durham, N.C., this weekend. Those shows will now take place in February and April, respectively.
