Houses and Gardens
What: The 65th annual spring Festival of Houses and Gardens offers visitors the opportunity to venture inside nearly 150 of Charleston's grandest private houses and gardens in the city's historic district during blooming season. Daily tours, musical concerts, luncheon lectures and wine tastings are among the events. All proceeds benefit the Historic Charleston Foundation's preservation and education efforts.

What: In support of Women Build, the Dorchester Road Lowe's will provide this second of three free construction clinics. The topics addressed will be “How to Install Exterior Siding” and “How to Install Roofing Shingles.” The objective of this series of clinics is to help women gain construction knowledge and skills, to apply to both the worksite and their own lives. Registration is required.

Hope 4 a Cure Pageant
What: Formal/casual pageant will raise money for Relay for Life team. Profits will be donated to the American Cancer Society. A concession stand and entertainment will be provided.

Hat Ladies promenade
What: The Hat Ladies and members of their families will stroll in their finery down Meeting Street between Broad and White Point Garden in honor of Easter in the Holy City. The public is invited to watch, wave and photograph.
