Pacino's Emmy turn?

Actor Al Pacino (left) greets Dr. Jack Kevorkian at the premiere of 'You Don’t Know Jack: The Life and Deaths of Jack Kevorkian' on April 14 at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York.

It's early to talk Emmys, but Al Pacino's performance as Jack Kevorkian in HBO's "You Don't Know Jack," premiering tonight, is a wonder to behold. Pacino disappears into Kevorkian's skin, creating a multidimensional and astonishing character.

The supporting characters aren't bad, either, especially Danny Huston as Kevorkian's go-get-'em attorney. Also starring are Susan Sarandon, John Goodman and Brenda Vaccaro.

Right-to-die advocate Kevorkian spent time in prison for his role in the death of a terminally ill patient.
