If I wasn't working with the Wine + Food Festival I'd be ... doing some sort of PR/marketing/event planning. Maybe again on my own. Or starting food and wine festivals on Caribbean Islands!

I drink wine ... Yes, mostly Italians.

My favorite food ... Anything done by a chef in Charleston! I love fresh, farm-to-table stuff. Love cooking from my own garden or local farms/fishermen.

Is drinking on the job frowned upon or actually encouraged? Drinking if done responsibly and moderately is fine. We are a food and wine event, so the staff can eat and drink if done in a professional manner. If a chef wants me to try something, I am not going to say "no." And it is important for us to know the events from every aspect. Everyone here works hard, and they know what is appropriate and what is not. Plus, we work so much that week, getting very little sleep, we don't really want to drink anything but Red Bull and coffee. It is the only way to survive it.

I drink wine ... with an open mind and lots of curiosity.

My favorite food ... homemade pasta and always some fresh mozzarella to start!

Does the thought of boxed wine make you break out in hives, or do you think it's apropos at times? Hives, absolutely not. Show me a box of wine come this Sunday at 8 p.m. and I'll be all over it.

I drink wine ... nightly. You need a way to relax, plus it's educational.

My favorite food ... is anything made by all our local incredible chefs that make this festival happen. Without them the festival would not exist.

If you could eat only two food items for the rest of your life, what would they be? If vodka is considered a food, then Ketel One on the rocks with lemon, paired with pasta of any kind.

I drink wine ... out of a big glass.

My favorite food ... hands down, any day of the week, Mexican.

What's worse, somebody who wines too much or whines too much? Tough call, all things are best in moderation!
