Bearded men and women will descend on The Pour House on Feb. 19 for the second annual Southeastern Beard and Moustache Championships, an event that raises money for Lowcountry Women With Wings. The organization provides education and support to women with ovarian cancer and their families. Contest categories include moustache, sideburns, gnarliest beard, freestyle and ladies artificial. With an increasing number of women unemployed and looking for work, Dressbarn's annual Send One Suit Weekend program aims to remove a fundamental hurdle for women in need seeking a job: having the proper outfit to wear for the interview. The ninth annual clothing donation program will run Feb. 24-27 with drop-off sites at Dressbarn locations across the country, including one at Tanger Outlet Center in North Charleston.
