If you missed last year’s DIY network show, “Restoring Charleston,” you have the opportunity to watch all the episodes, back-to-back, starting at 8 p.m. Wednesday and ending at 4 a.m. Thursday.
The re-airing of the eight 30-minute episodes is exciting for Summerville-based contractor Trent Fasnacht because “so it will put us on in prime time coast-to-coast.”
Fasnacht says “Restoring Charleston” not only showcases efforts to rehabilitate two historic homes in St. George, but all the local sub-contractors, tradespeople and interior designers who helped make the transformations possible.
“It’s a well-produced series,” adds Fasnacht, noting that the episodes also are available on iTunes and Amazon.
For Fasnacht, it’s the second time he’s worked with DIY since doing an initial pilot for a show titled “American Rehab: Charleston” in 2014. Between the two shows, his work has involved three home restorations in 14 total episodes.
In the Charleston area, DIY airs on channels 121 on Comcast, 230 on DirecTV, 111 on Dish and 454 on U-Verse.
