Local writer Tom Turner will sign copies of his book “Palm Beach Nasty” at 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Blue Bicycle Books, 420 King St., and again 3:30-4:30 p.m. March 14 at St. Andrew’s Regional Library, 1735 N. Woodmere Drive.
At both events, Turner will discuss his book and read from it.
“Palm Beach Nasty,” published by Permanent Press, presents the no-nonsense former New York homicide cop Charlie Crawford and the hard-nosed detective from Cleveland Mort Ott who together chase the bad guy through the glitter and glamour of Palm Beach, Fla.
Turner, a former copy writer in the advertising business, moved from New York to Palm Beach some years ago where he found work in real estate. Not long ago, he moved to Charleston, where he dabbles in real estate between stretches of writing.
