EASLEY — Ten students have been taken to two hospitals after a wreck involving a school bus in Easley.

Pickens County School District officials said it did not appear that any of the children hurt in the wreck around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday were critically injured. The students were taken to hospitals in Greenville and Easley.

Authorities say the bus driver failed to yield the right of way and was hit by an SUV near downtown Easley.

District officials say the bus was carrying students from an elementary, middle and high school in the area.
