EASLEY — Pickens County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting death of an Easley man whose body was found in a church parking lot.

Deputies found the body of 48-year-old Sean Timothy Dinneen of Easley shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday at Crosswell Baptist Church.

Coroner Kandy Kelley pronounced Dinneen dead at the scene.

A sheriff’s report shows that investigators found a shoe and broken glass bottle near Dinneen’s body.

David Alexander lives across the street and says he saw men arguing in the parking lot and then heard glass breaking and one or two gunshots. Alexander told deputies that two cars drove from the scene.

An autopsy was planned Monday. No arrests have been reported.
