Four people were injured in a drive-by shooting Sunday night in North Charleston.

Two men sitting in a car in front of 7637 Pinehurst St. exchanged gunfire with a minivan that drove by, according to Charleston County sheriff’s officials.

The two people in the minivan drove to Roper Hospital Diagnostics and ER Northwoods for injuries that were not life-threatening, officials said, while paramedics took the two men inside the other car with serious injuries to Medical University Hospital.

The investigation continues.
