Charleston County deputies arrested three people and are searching for a fourth in connection with the kidnapping of Marquis Rashad Richardson, a 25-year-old man who was abducted from a home and later found shot to death along railroad tracks near Lincolnville Road on Dec. 20.

Sheriff's investigators charged Latasha Yvette McCall, 23, of Romney St. in Charleston; King Dominque Wilson, 22, of Ranger Drive in North Charleston and Travaris D. Walker, 29, of Bull Street in Charleston with one count of kidnapping, Maj. Jim Brady said.

Deputies are searching for a fourth kidnapping suspect, Fredrick Andre Sanders, 29, whose last known address was on Flood Street in Charleston. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at 202-1700 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.

Brady said no formal murder charges have been filed in the case. Detectives are continuing to investigate a motive and determine what, if any, part the suspects may have played in Richardson's death.

Investigators say Richardson was abducted at gunpoint from a home at 69 Norman St. and forced into a vehicle.

Deputies served the warrants on McCall, Wilson and Walker at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center where there were already being held on unrelated charges, Brady said.

The three defendants were denied bail during a bond hearing this morning.
