Navy orders warships in Virginia out of Irene’s path

The Post and Courier is partnering with Count on 2 News to make the Prep Zone website (hsprepzone.com) the one-stop source for high school football coverage this season.

The Post and Courier will provide scores, games stories, photo galleries and more every Friday night. Combine that with the outstanding game video Count on 2 News provides and you have a touchdown.

But there's more. Each week, Count on 2 News anchor Brendan Clark and I will predict the top six games of the week. You can catch our picks on Channel 2's 5 p.m. newscasts on Wednesdays and in The Post and Courier on Thursdays.

I will also appear on the 6 p.m. newscasts on Fridays to break down the game of the week.

Fans can sign up for the prep zone community and share photos and comments. Remember, Prep Zone is for all sports, including cheering and band, so send us your photos for all high school sports. There also is a link at the top right hand of the page that takes you to The Post and Courier's Facebook fan page. Prep Zone can be found on Twitter by searching @HSPrepZone for all the latest scores and updates.
