Mechanical River

Joel Hamilton is the frontman of Charleston band Mechanical River.

B-Side Sessions returns with a live session of Charleston Lo-Fi project Mechanical River, who just released a full-length disc, "Posterity."

Here, they perform hazy and mellow "Two Things at Once," the last song from the October album, which is available for purchase as well as streaming on Spotify and Apple Music. Soft, muted drum beats serve as a backdrop to echoed vocals and melancholic guitar strums. Watch it all the way through for a heightened instrumental and vocal finale.

This video was filmed at Fairweather Studio on James Island, and Omar Colon did the engineering while Taylor Hickman filmed and edited.

Mechanical River, in this studio set-up, consists of Joel Hamilton on vocals and cigar box guitar, Jack Burg on drums, Brett Nash on bass and Bill Carson on guitar.
