Redux to unveil community’s self-portraits this week

Redux Contemporary Art Center has recently collected more than 500 self-portraits made by people all over the Lowcountry. A special one-night-only exhibit Tuesday will showcase the result with a session at 3 p.m. for students and children, which will include healthy snacks and crafts in the Redux classroom. Another showing will be held from 5-8 p.m. for adults, featuring libations and live music. Those who would like to contribute to the exhibit will have one last chance to enter a self-portrait at the Charleston Farmer’s Market in Marion Square on Saturday.
