O, Brother, where are thou?

Chris Robinson Brotherhood

Gritty blues rockers The Black Crowes may be a thing of the past, but the skinny, soulful frontman Chris Robinson is currently dropping “shimmering acid-Americana” with the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, a five-piece rock outfit on tour in support of its fourth studio album, “Anyway You Love, We Know How You Feel,” to be released July 29. Robinson’s strong and distinctive vocals have found a home in the “cosmic California music” of the Brotherhood, with dripping, groove-inducing guitar solos, psychedelic keyboards and some pure funk mixed in.
