Ingrid Michaelson brings ‘Lights Out’ to Charleston

Over the past few years, Ingrid Michaelson has vaulted from overachieving indie-pop wannabe to a bona-fide pop star. With her first album, “Slow the Rain,” released in 2005, she has since release five more. Her sixth album, “Lights Out” debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. Her two highest charting singles are “The Way I Am” and “Girls Chase Boys,” coming in at No. 37 and No. 52 on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively. With her live show called “seamless” by The New York Times, Michaelson will perform in the Holy City with Greg Holden.
