HBO’s ‘Vice Principals’ seeking extras for production in Charleston

Danny McBride

The new HBO comedy series “Vice Principals” will begin filming in Charleston this spring, and casting directors are calling for background actors of all ages to sign up to be considered for the production.

An announcement from Tona B. Dahlquist Casting Tuesday highlighted the series’ special need for teens ages 15-19 to play high school students.

Those interested in participating must submit two current head shots, and the following information to vpbackground@gmail.com: Name, phone number, age, city and state of residence, height and weight, clothing size, vehicle information, list of tattoos, and filming availability.

For more information visit the casting company’s Facebook page.

“Vice Principals” is the new 18-episode series from “Eastbound & Down” creators Danny McBride and Jody Hill. The show starring McBride “tells the story of a high school and the people who almost run it,” according to the announcement.
