In the new preview for HBO’s forthcoming comedy series “Vice Principals,” it appears the race to be named principal of a high school is about as contentious as the current presidential race.

The show centers on two rival high school administrators, played by comedians Danny McBride and Walton Goggins, as they compete for the high school’s top job.

In the trailer, McBride’s character berates students for drinking underage and lectures them about “the real world,” while intermittently slap-fighting and trash-talking his fellow vice principal.

The show, which debuts on July 17, was co-created by McBride and Jody Hill, who also did HBO’s “Eastbound and Down.” Its 18 episodes were filmed across the Lowcountry.
