Garth Brooks announces four local performances in February, breaks ticket sales record in an hour

After announcing his first concert in Charleston in more than 19 years last week, Garth Brooks has added three more shows to the schedule at the North Charleston Coliseum in February.

The country superstar will perform four shows in North Charleston at 7 p.m. Feb. 12, 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Feb. 13 and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 14. The concerts are part of his world tour with his wife, fellow country star Trisha Yearwood.

He is also playing multiple performances in most other cities during the tour.

Tickets are on sale now at www.ticketmaster.com/GarthBrooks for $64.51, plus tax and a booking fee, for a total of $74.98. Ticketmaster can also be reached at 1-866-448-7849 or 1-800-745-3000.

Garth Brooks played three concerts at the North Charleston Coliseum from Jan. 30 –Feb. 1, 1997, when 35,384 total tickets were sold. Since the tickets were released at 10 a.m. today, 35,850 tickets have been sold, setting the country artist’s sales record for the venue, according to the coliseum.
