Everyone Orchestra is more of a musical experiment than a conventional band. Matt Butler of Jambay created the concept several years ago to foster on-stage collaborations with members of mostly jam bands such as Phish, Moe., String Cheese Incident and many others.
Today, it’s a touring production that draws its rotating roster of musicians from all sorts of genres from funk, jazz, progressive rock and several others, creating a one-of-a-kind live music experience.
At the Pour House on Saturday, Butler conducts a group including Nikki Glaspie, drummer of the Nth Power; Eli Winderman, keys player of Dopapod; Rev. Jeff Mosier, banjoist of Aquarium Rescue Unit; Charleston’s own Mike Quinn on saxophone; and several others.
The White/Bogan Duo will play an opening set at 9:30 p.m., followed by the main act at about 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $17 at the door. Visit www.charlestonpourhouse.com for more information.
