While flipping channels on any given day, there’s a good chance you’ve probably stopped on TLC after running across her trademark platinum poof and Long Island accent. If you watched for a little while, then you learned that the woman behind the hair is Theresa Caputo, a psychic medium who is bringing her gift to the Lowcountry. With “Long Island Medium” in its fourth season, the hit TLC show follows Caputo and her family around as they go about their daily lives with one slight hitch: She can’t “turn off” her ability to communicate with the dead, which means that a trip to the grocery store or the mechanics is never “normal.” Theresa Caputo Live! The Experience will feature personal stories about her life as well as interactive readings to audience members throughout the show.
