Charleston Bridal Show moves to Shriner's Auditorium

Dana Rice from Blushair applies air brush make-up to Sarah Hux at the January 2013 Charleston Bridal Show held at the Charleston Marriott. The show this weekend has moved to a new location, Shriner's Auditorium in Mount Pleasant.

With Charleston yet again being named a top travel destination - No. 1 in the U.S. and Canada and No. 2 in the world, according to Travel + Leisure's 2014 World's Best Awards, announced on July 2 - it really should come as no surprise that the Holy City is a popular spot for weddings, destination and hometown alike. As such, the timing is never really wrong for brides-to-be to get a helping hand in planning their big day. The folks behind the Charleston Bridal Show will bring more than 75 area vendors together under one roof, offering a great place to start for those easily overwhelmed with wedding decisions. From venues to honeymoons, rentals and decor to musicians and DJs, caterers, cakes and more, attendees will have plenty of options at their fingertips. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste food and cake samples, sip on cocktails, play in photo booths, speak with florists, check out the latest in bridal fashions and register to win all kinds of items to help with their big day.
