Battle of Charleston to change things up with living military timeline

This weekend, Legare Farms and the 7th SC Infantry will present the 11th annual Battle of Charleston. This year, the two-day event will be a living military timeline featuring pirates, Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korean Conflict and Vietnam War history and skirmishes. As this year’s event is a timeline, each day will feature three battles. The Civil War skirmish will be held at noon, WWII combat at 1 p.m. and the Vietnam fire fight will be at 2 p.m. Gates will open at 10 a.m. and folks are invited to explore the camps before the battles begin.

When: Saturday-Sunday, gates open at 10 a.m.
