City officials plan to run a valet parking pilot program on some of the busiest corridors downtown.
Residents and business owners met today at a public forum to ask questions and share concerns about the proposal, which would set up four valet stands: two off King Street, one on Broad Street and one off East Bay Street. The pilot would run for six months.
Officials plan to hold another public meeting before taking the project to the Traffic and Transportation Committee and then to City Council.
