Patriots Point will begin selling tickets online Wednesday for seats on the flight deck of the World War II-era aircraft carrier Yorktown to watch the Fourth of July fireworks display.

Tickets will cost $20 per person ($10 for children 11 and under). They include access to the Yorktown at 6 p.m., catered food and beverages available to buy, live music and children’s activities.

Like last year for the first time, fireworks will be shot from a barge in the Cooper River. Lawn chairs are permitted on the flight deck, but no coolers or personal food will be allowed.

The celebration is free for those watching from the shore near the naval and maritime and museum in Mount Pleasant. Food and beverage vendors will be set up as well as live music and entertainment for children in the parking area. Parking fee is $10.

Tickets for flight deck seats are limited and will be sold on the Patriots Point website only (www.patriotspoint.org/July4th).
