Two popular Charleston tourist attractions are cutting their admission rates by $5 for most of September to draw more visitors after schools start back up.
The discount will be available at the S.C. Aquarium and Magnolia Plantation and Gardens from Labor Day, Sept. 7, until the end of the month, according to a written statement.
Coupons can be obtained at the Charleston Visitors Center at 375 Meeting St. or on the websites for the two attractions. They must be printed to qualify, and they can’t be combined with any other promotions discounts.
The S.C. Aquarium charges about $25 for adults and $18 for children. Toddlers are free.
The rate for Magnolia is $15 for adults and $10 for kids ages 6 to 12.
