College of Charleston freshman guard Anthony Stitt is scheduled to return to practice Monday following a four-week absence because of a broken hand. Stitt, who had just moved into the starting lineup, was injured during the first half of a Jan. 12 home loss to UNC Greensboro.
Stitt, the cousin of former Clemson star Demontez Stitt, was averaging 9.7 points for the Cougars who were 11-4 at the time and 3-1 in the Southern Conference. They are currently 16-10, 8-7. After Stitt’s scheduled return, Charleston will have two conference games remaining before the SoCon Tournament March 2-5 in Asheville, N.C.
