Sweeping visages, towering trees and eye-catching swamps characterize 54 “sophisticated” houses that John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods plans to raise on Mount Pleasant’s southern edge.
The company says it’s expanding in the Charleston area via The Oaks Marsh View village.
Coming soon, the neighborhood will feature homes “that combine distinctive character with some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Lowcountry,” according to marketers.
Houses will be priced from the $700,000s. The limited offering “will provide the best in luxury living today,” John Wieland Homes says, adding “this ideal location will make enjoying the good life easier than ever.” The Oaks Marsh View will blend “distinctive character with breathtaking scenery,” the builder says. Each home combines “timeless coastal charm with innovative design.”
Home buyers can chose from a variety of John Wieland Homes plans while guided by a professional design consultant. They can select finishing touches at the builder’s New Home Design Studio.
Property spotlights include grand, arching live oak canopies; windswept marsh vistas; and a “thoughtful” plan of scenic ponds and passive parks throughout the neighborhood. Plans also call for a marsh-side pavilion.
According to John Wieland Homes, the new enclave is nestled ideally between Mount Pleasant’s historic Old Village and island marshes with “sweeping views towards Sullivan’s Island.”
The Oaks Marsh View is close to the shopping, dining and recreation of Mount Pleasant, Isle of Palms and downtown Charleston. The Atlantic Ocean beach is a short drive or bike ride away. Close-by Mount Pleasant schools include Mamie Whitesides Elementary, Laing Middle and Wando High.
