Rental houses come in various styles, sizes and layouts for all types of tenants. But few can claim they are a proper choice for a host of shoppers.
According to Jeannette Ososki, one of those versatile houses is 106 Barnaby St. on Daniel Island.
The 2,650-square-foot home in the Codner’s Ferry Park neighborhood, one of the earliest communities on the island, is for lease at $2,500 a month. It should be ready for occupancy within 30 days, says Ososki, broker with Tri-County Properties.
She says 106 Barnaby St. is an “ideal home for a single person, couple, retiree or small family. There’s a lot of nice things about it.”
The two-story home, which Ososki says is in “pristine condition,” overlooks scenic Codner’s Ferry Park. The grassy area is encircled by one-way traffic, which she says is safer “for walkers and children at play.”
A prime feature of the home are double piazzas that look out on the park. “People work a lot these days,” Ososki says, and the piazzas allow residents to relax after a day at the office and enjoy the view.
The house features three bedrooms, two full baths and a half bath, yet it has a cozy feel. “Even though it’s 2,650 square feet, it’s a nice size,” she says.
Sporting a traditional exterior, the house contains an open floor plan inside that’s suited for entertaining. The multitude of windows are all set off by custom plantation shutters. Other interior perks are a fireplace in the living room, separate dining room, gourmet kitchen, den and sunroom-exercise area. Decorative moldings, oak floors, granite countertops and stainless kitchen appliances accentuate the unfurnished home.
The house has a garage as well as front street parking. A small yard cuts down on maintenance, but it’s large enough for a garden and patio.
Renters can take advantage of close-by recreational attractions in the Codner’s Ferry Park village, notably a swimming pool, walking trails and play park.
“The house overall is very charming,” Ososki says.
Being situated in the Codner’s Ferry Park neighborhood, 106 Barnaby can be accessed while avoiding Daniel Island’s periodically bustling downtown.
