The Cassina Group opens downtown office, its third in Charleston area

A stone building on East Bay Street not far from the Old Exchange Building will house The Cassina Group real estate agency’s new office.

A steadily-expanding Lowcountry real estate firm made a major symbolic move recently, adding a center on one of Charleston’s more prominent streets.

The Cassina Group opened an office at 132 East Bay St. in downtown Charleston. It will join existing spots at 309 Coleman Blvd. in Mount Pleasant and at 69 Morris St. on Charleston’s peninsula.

“We are thrilled to now have a location on East Bay Street,” says Robertson Allen, company cofounder and broker-in-charge at the East Bay office. “It will give our firm excellent visibility on the downtown peninsula and greater ability to serve our clients,” he says.

A group of real estate specialists founded the company in 2006 “with a vision of doing real estate differently,” Cassina Group says. The venture seeks to balance traditional real estate models with unique marketing and emerging technology, it says. “The Cassina Group has created a cutting-edge and innovative company that serves as a leader in the Charleston real estate market,” the agency says.

“Our growth over the past few years has been significant and sustained,” says Jimmy Dye, cofounder of The Cassina Group. “We attribute much of our success to our passionate and team-driven agents as well as our supportive and loyal clients.

“The new 132 East Bay St. office allows our growth to continue long into the future,” Dye says.

Cassina Group describes itself as a boutique real estate brokerage with offices east of the Cooper and downtown. For more, visit or call 843-628-0008.
