A major real estate agency’s Summerville Main Street office raised money to help local schools buy in-class materials.

Carolina One Real Estate’s locale in Dorchester County “honored three area school teachers with money collected from the office.” The collection and presentation took place in December. Chip Reeves, office manager for Carolina One, participated in the fund raising.

“The $300 raised and shared evenly will be used to help with second semester in-class materials that teachers typically purchase out of their own pockets,” according to Carolina One. The teachers each represent a different school in Dorchester District 2 and in Berkeley County.
