Charleston area rental pros are encouraged to attend a special event in the state capital this month to learn about legislative issues key to the multifamily housing industry.

On April 13, the South Carolina Apartment Association will host the ninth annual Legislative Day in Columbia, The promotion includes a legislative program and overview of current legislation affecting apartment-homes and related properties, according to the CAA Legislative Pulse. The Pulse is a monthly newsletter “designed to keep Charleston Apartment Association members abreast of topical political news impacting the industry.”

The newsletter urges members to “please join us and let your voice be heard.”

Legislative Day will be at The Palmetto Club Grand Ballroom, 1231 Sumter St. in Columbia. The event costs $40 and includes registration, materials, refreshments and lunch. Registration begins at 9 a.m. The meeting starts at 9:30 a.m.
