Butler Derrick III has built a career as a Realtor locally and in Aiken.
Derrick recently signed on with Charleston-based Carriage Properties, a luxury real estate agency.
The University of South Carolina graduate joined Charleston Trident Association of Realtors in 2008. Working with Derrick Realty, he was a member of the Aiken Board of Realtors 2008-10. He has had a license with a downtown Charleston brokerage since 2011, according to Carriage Properties.

A Southern California native who moved to the Charleston area as a youth has joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Carolina Sun Real Estate.
Jake Sharp “enjoys the beautiful weather and outdoor activities that Charleston offers,” the Mount Pleasant agency says. He moved from the West Coast as “a young teenager with his family.” According to Carolina Sun realty, “Charleston’s spectacular golf courses and beaches have made this Jake’s home.”
Sharp moved to Carolina Sun after “extensive experience” with Akers Ellis Real Estate on Kiawah Island. He in part made the switch, according to the Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, because he’s “looking forward to joining an internationally recognized brand with a superior global relocation department and state-of-the-art technology tools.”
Boasting 30 years of marketing background, Joel Cardwell has joined a local franchise tied to a large national real estate firm.
Cardwell climbed on board with Keller Williams Realty in its Charleston-Mount Pleasant office. According to the agency, he brings more than three decades of “sales, marketing and contract negotiation experience to the team.” The company says his 2015 real estate sales volume places him in the top 20 percent of all local realtors.
He previously worked with Re/Max Advanced Realty.
An agent with two decades of experience in customer service and cosmetology recently chose to expand her real estate reach through Keller Williams Charleston-Mount Pleasant Market Center.
Olga Gordon is a real estate professional in Charleston.

Trudy Mercy Brown brings a varied background to her new position as real estate associate with ERA Wilder Realty’s Charleston area office.
According to the agency, Brown has experience in “real estate, sales, interior design, remodeling and new construction.”
Brown has a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in interior design from Winthrop University.
