Charleston-based Frampton Construction recently started work at a new 100-residence seniors facility in the Summerville-Goose Creek area.
The Blake at Carnes Crossroads will be an 88,000-square-foot “assisted living and memory care” community 20 miles northwest of Charleston.
Contractors broke ground March 31. The project is scheduled to be finished by May 2017.
The Blake will be a “premier anchor” for the new Carnes Crossroads master-planned community, Daniel Island Co.’s 3.7-acre village off U.S. highways 17A and 176 east of Summerville. The community includes medical offices, shops, restaurants, a school, parks and a church.
This is Frampton Construction’s second venture with Blake Management Co., which oversees senior living developer Cardinal Ventures in Ridgeland, Miss.
Frampton Construction Co. LLC describes itself as a regional full-service construction firm providing planning and design support, preconstruction, construction services and sustainability services throughout the Carolinas.
The Carnes Crossroads development is a sister facility to The Blake at Woodcreek Farms, which Frampton Construction is building in Elgin.
Cardinal Ventures and Blake Management Group were formed to provide top-notch senior living services that are “meaningful, compassionate, and innovative,” according to Frampton Construction. Blake Management Group’s purpose is to provide its residents with “a luxurious, home-like community with resort style services and unmatched access to programs that promote well-being, security, longevity, family and self-worth,” according to the company.
