An Atlanta-based builder recently unveiled one of its newest home designs in an upscale Berkeley County master-planned community.
John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods constructed the designer model at Carnes Crossroads off U.S. Highway 17A. The Randall floor plan is the latest offering in the Artisan Collection of John Wieland Homes’ Signature Portfolio. The property showcases “classic charm” minutes from downtown Summerville and from Charleston, according to the builder.
Covering more than 2,150 square feet, The Randall contains four bedrooms, three baths and a two-car garage.
It “impresses from the bright, open entrance,” John Wieland Homes notes. Guests can take in “breathtaking” views of the dining and great room, and a versatile kitchen with large walk-in pantry includes direct connections to the dining room “for easy entertaining,” The great room, according to John Wieland Homes, “offers a cozy setting to gather near the fireplace that is still open to the kitchen, keeping the cook in the conversation.”
On the second floor, The Randall shows off a luxurious owner’s suite with spa bath and large walk-in closet, as well as two more bedrooms.
Buyers can choose from three John Wieland Homes floor plans at Carnes Crossroads: The Randall, The Riverside and The Roanoke. Options include construction of a new house or purchase of a “quick move-in” home. A Riverside plan, ready for purchase, sizes out to more-than-2,275 square feet and includes four bedrooms, three baths and a two-car garage. The home, priced at $379,245, allows owners to “entertain with ease.” A well-stocked kitchen serves up prep space and easy access to the dining room and outdoor living areas.
Additionally, “overnight guests will feel like they have their own private quarters in the first-floor guest suite.” The second floor provides an owner’s suite, additional bedrooms and loft space — “the perfect place to curl up with a good book,” according to John Wieland Homes.
Two more lots feature Roanoke plans, priced at $387,878 and $389,592. Both houses include 2,250-plus square feet of living space and three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and two-car garage. They each combine “the luxury of a first floor owner’s suite with a modern open floor plan.” The houses also include gourmet kitchens, dining rooms and great rooms “that combine into one inviting space” opening to a rear covered porches, John Wieland Homes notes. An upstairs bonus room can be styled as a media room or play space, the builder says.
Along with the houses from John Wieland Homes, the Carnes Crossroads neighborhood sports recreational and social activities, including the historic Green Barn, refurbished as an open-air gathering place; and surrounding amenity center. Attractions include a 25-meter pool, “complete with beach entry and a splash and play area for kids,” John Wieland Homes points out. Miles of trails thread throughout the neighborhood, and hundreds of acres of parks, lakes and greenways dot the community, according to the builder.
