This rendering shows the Four Corners building to be raised as part of The Harbour apartment home community on Daniel Island.

Work will commence next month on a three-building cluster of apartment homes in a fashionable village just south of Interstate 526.

Daniel Island Apartments, LLC will start site construction by April 16 on The Harbour, a luxury rental locale along River Landing Drive.

The complex on Daniel Island will have 124 apartment homes including studio and one, two and three bedroom residences.

According to the developer, The Harbour will occupy three buildings at 210, 251 and 255 River Landing Drive. Apartment homes will be comparatively large for the island, with  some units boasting studies and computer desks as well as white cabinets, quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, nine-foot ceilings and plank and tile bathroom floors and surrounds.

Building attractions consist of a concierge desk, fitness center, yoga studio with Peloton bikes, business center, coffee bar, electric-car charging stations, bike storage and Amazon package lockers, the project backer says.

What's known as the Four Corners site will house a saltwater pool, cabana with outdoor grilling station, fire pit and dog wash station.

Crews will complete the apartment homes in stages, with the 210 River Landing site to open by April 2019 and the last building to be "turnkey" by next August. Pre-leasing will start next January.

The developer says apartments will be constructed "with very little disruption to the Daniel Island community."
