Construction started recently on the second phase of Audubon Place apartment homes, a North Carolina project developed by a Lowcountry-based company.
The new stage of apartment homes in Arden, N.C., will be ready for occupancy by April, says Kassinger Development Group, of Charleston, which is also involved in building the complex.
Leasing on the second phase has started. Audubon Place now has 256 luxury apartment homes, with 86 dwellings to be framed in the second stage.
Arden sits conveniently close to Asheville Regional Airport, the new Sierra Nevada Brewery and other manufacturers, according to Kassinger Development.
The floor plans will showcase interior upgrades, while new apartment home amenities tout a clubhouse expansion with meeting rooms and a larger fitness center, the developer says. Residences in the second phase boast one-, two- and three-bedroom options as well as carriage homes fitted with an attached one-car garage.
“The team at (Kassinger Development) appreciates the beauty and lifestyle of Asheville as a wonderful place to live and vacation,” says Tyler Kassinger, development partner of Kassinger Development Group. Honeywell Heating Co. ranked Asheville as one of the “top coziest cities in the U.S.,” while the region counts more breweries per capita than any city in the U.S., the developer says.
Pegasus Residential professionally manages Audubon Place along with other Kassinger Development communities.
The group says it builds high quality, luxury apartment communities including Weirbridge Village and The Retreat at Hunt Hill in Asheville. Kassinger Development also is involved with raising Sweetwater Apartments luxury waterfront community in the Charleston area.
Kassinger Development Group describes itself as a privately owned real estate development company formed in 2004 and based in Charleston.
